is it true that you burn 1 calorie for every abdominal crunch?
I’m trying to find a way to quatify abdominal crunches. I think I heard for a full sit up, you burn 2 – 3 calories per sit up.

This is 100% not true. It takes about 10 minutes running on the treadmill at average intensity to burn 100 calories.
This would mean that you do 100 abdominal crunches in 1 minute and burn 100 calories.
If your goal is to burn fat, abdominal crunches and sit ups are definitely not even close to one of the best calorie burning exercises
